Chai Tau Kway aka Singaporean Style Fried Carrot Cake
Today I’m making chinese style breakfast. My grandma and mother in law always liked them and would order it every time we wnt to dim sum restaurant. Cooking this making me remind of them. 🍳Chai Tau Kway aka Singaporean Style Fried Carrot Cake
🥟Plain Carrot Cake or Radish Cake
🥛Soy Milk
Bought the radish cake in supermarket, loving this crispy outside and chewy inside. These traditional Taiwanese radish cake are the street food breakfast can be found in most breakfast shop here.
INGREDIENTS
* 1 cloves garlic, chopped finely
* 1 tbsp green onion
* 1 large egg
* 1 tsp soy sauce
* 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
* 2 slices radish cake, cut diced
* 1/2 tsp oil
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a pan, heat oil and pan fry cut diced radish cake until golden brown. Set aside.
2. In the same pan, crack an egg and use spatula to break the egg yolk and stir to blend with the egg white.
3. Put back radish cake and add all sauces ingredients.
4. Mix them well until combined and put green onion. Stir a few seconds again.
5. Served on a plate!
