Air Fried Doughnuts
WE made this delicious doughnut since daddy it's not a fan of cake. They are a little dryer compared ones made deep fried one since technique they are baked . However, these do taste good. The exterior is crisp and the interior is soft and healthier than deep fried one!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp warm water
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 large egg white
- 1 ½ to 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour, plus more for rolling
- Cooking oil spray
- Icing sugar, for dusting
- Genty stir together water and yeast, let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes until the yeast starts to foamy.
- Mix lukewarm milk and honey until dissolved, pour into yeast mixture.
- Add the rest of the ingredienst flour and egg. Mix on using hand or mixer until well combined. Keep mix just until the dough comes together and no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl.
- On the floured surface, knead for 10-15 minutes until the dough is elastic and smooth.
- In a large oiled bowl, place the dough and cover it with towel. Set the bowl in a draft-free and warm area. Allow it to rise until doubled, approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Gently punch the dough down. Turn the dough out onto the floured surface. Roll the dough into a 1/2 inch thick.
- Using a biscuit cutter or a glass, cut the dough rounds. Re-rolling dough scraps to get a second round of doughnuts.
- Transfer the doughnuts into baking tray and cover with towel. Allow these to rise again approximately 30-45minutes.
- Spray the doughnuts in air fryer basket with oil lightly.
- Preheat your air fryer to 180C/350F and baked for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Swith the tray halfway through baking. Remove from oven, let cool slightly.
- Dust icing sugar over and serve warm. These doughnuts are best eaten day of.
