Airfryer Crispy Sweet Potato Balls
Crispy sweet potato balls are a great snack for afternoon tea. My daughter loves it so much such a treat and won’t share it with her dad. I made it using air fryer to make healthier sweet potato balls that are not deep-fried.

- 350g sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (sub with gluten free flour to make them gluten-free snack)
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp honey
- oil, for spraying
- powdered sugar, for dusting
- Boil the sweet potatoes in hot boiling water for 20 minutes, or until the inside is cooked through (test them with fork or skewer).
- Peel the skin off and discard. Cut them into small cubed and mash the them.
- Add in flour, honey, and water to the sweet potato mixture then form a dough that is not sticky to the hands.
- Use 1 teaspoon to measure the dough and roll them into balls.
- Transfer the sweet potato balls to your airfryer baking tray and keep roll the dough into balls.
- Spray the sweet potato balls with some oil. Baked them for 20-25 minutes in 180C/350F or until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
